Norma Dodd, widow of legendary music producer Clement 'Coxson' Dodd is dead.

The cause of her death is not yet known but according to reports Mrs. Dodd died on Tuesda at the University Hospital of the West Indies.

Norma Dodd played a major role in keeping the company alive following her husband's death. She helped to oversee the distribution of Studio One's massive catalogue in Europe and North America.

Clement 'Coxson' Dodd founded Studio One in October 1963, and helped nuture the careers of  several great Jamaican acts, including the Wailers, The Heptons, Bob Andy, Marcia Griffiths Dennis Brown and Burning Spear.
