MAVADO'S SCHOOL TREAT SHUT DOWN

It is still unclear as to why Mavado’s annual back-to-school treat and memorial concert for his dad ended prematurely on Saturday.

The daytime activities for the children was to facilitate the giving away of school bags, books and other school supplies while the nighttime proceedings was dedicated to the memory of Mavado's Father, Stanford Brooks.

Music News understands that it was during the children’s treat that the lawmen intervened, putting a damper on the annual event.

Dancehall deejay and Mavado’s friend, Future Fambo gives his account of what happened.

When Music News contacted members of the law enforcement, an Inspector curtly expressed that we didn’t have the authority to ask questions about the action taken as it was a police matter.
