All babies born today and onwards will be required to get a new document that will contain their immunization records.
The child health and development passport will also record the child’s medical history, nutrition guidelines, growth charts and educational and developmental tips for parents.
The passport is only for children born on or after September 1.
This means that older children will continue to use the existing immunization cards they were issued, as they will not be replaced by the passport.
