The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) is advising residents and especially fishermen, to avoid using the South Negril River in Westmoreland.
An investigation was conducted today (February 2) after reports were received that there was evidence that the river was being polluted.

The Kingston Eastern Police have launched a manhunt for a man, who they say absconded bail yesterday (February 1).
He is 29-year-old Kawain Stephenson, otherwise called Tommy.
Stephenson was charged for a murder, which occurred in January 2008.
