Jamaica’s  football  has  received  a  significant  shot  in  the  arm  with  reports  that  the  top   six  teams  in the  recent  National  Premier  League  have  been  invited  by  top flight teams  in  France  for  a  number  of  games.

IRIE  FM  Sports  understands  that  Harbour  View, St.  Georges  and  Tivoli  Gardens  have  already  confirmed  their  participation  and  will  start  leaving  the  island  on  July  22.

St.  Georges  and  Tivoli  gardens  are  expected  to  be  in  action   on  July  24,  while  Harbour  View  will  be  in  action  on  July  31.

Lens  and  Lille  are  among  the  French  teams  which  have  extended  the  invitations  to  the  Jamaican  clubs.

Waterhouse,  Boys  Town  and  Village  United  are  the  other  teams  which  finished  in the  top  six  of  the  National  Premier League.
