Once one of the most feared boxers in the heavyweight division, the name Donovan “Razor” Ruddock would drive fear into any who dared to call themselves a contenders amongst the big men.
His trademark invention the “smash” was a high bred mix of the left hook and uppercut and has put many to sleep. He is best remembered for two epic battles with Mike Tyson where Tyson declared the, “The man kicks like a f….cking mule”.
Ruddock has held the Canadian (twice), International Boxing Council and WBA Inter-continental heavyweight titles he has however never fought for the major alphabet straps and he wants to correct this.
His record stands at (37 (ko 28)-5 (ko 4)-1 and won his last ten fights (nine by stoppage).
