Final report into G2K submitted
A committee appointed to conduct a review of Generation 2000 (G2K), the young professional affiliate of the JLP has submitted its final report.
The announcement was made in a statement this afternoon from the Secretariat of the group.
The committee which was appointed to undertake a comprehensive review of the organization submitted the report entitled “return to action.”
The report contains over 30 recommendations covering areas including the organization's philosophy, core principles and media relations.
Chairperson of the review committee, JLP Senator Kamina Johnson-Smith said it is the hope of the committee that the recommendations set out in the report will be taken in a spirit of objective and constructive criticism and will redound to the ultimate health and further sustainability of the organisation.
The report is to be tabled at G2K's next management committee meeting.
The review committee was appointed in January of this year after the JLP failed in its bid to earn a second term in office.
