Police question 2 men held in relation to quadruple murder in Hanover

The two men held in connection with the quadruple murder in Rejoin Hanover, underwent a question and answer session this afternoon (May 7).

The men were questioned by the Hanover police.

Irie FM News understands that one of the men held is a 34 year-old welder from Clarendon.

The Westmoreland police accosted him on a public passenger vehicle in the parish on the weekend and then turned him over, to their Hanover counterparts.

The other suspect, who was held at a house in Whithorne, Westmoreland, is a 29 year-old man from Kingston.

Head of the Hanover Police Senior Superintendent L. Rhooms says he's unable to provide the details of the investigations.

However, Irie FM News has learnt that the 2 suspects are to face an identification parade tomorrow (May 8).

It's also understood that the police found what they believe to be damning forensic evidence at the house in Whithorne, where one of the suspects was held.

The 2 men are being investigated for their alleged involvement in the shooting death 64 year-old Lenford Frazer, his son 49 year-old Delroy Fraser; 64-year-old Kenneth Bernard and 41 year-old David Harding.

Three were shot dead last Wednesday while playing a game of dominoes at a shop in Rejoin, while the other was murdered along the roadway in the community.

About IRIE FM

The station officially went on air on August 1, 1990. Reggae in the morning, Reggae in the evening, Reggae in the night was the cry. Critics said it was impossible to sustain a 24-hour Reggae music station. In fact, so strong was the impact, it proved that this format was something the Jamaican public yearned for. The 'little station that could' got all media houses in Jamaica to stand up and take note.
