Teen arrested for death of guardian

A 17 year old in now in police custody, after he allegedly chopped his guardian to death last evening.

Dead is 60-year -old Cyril Kelsey, a watchman of Leeds St. Elizabeth.

Reports are that about 9:00 P.M. yesterday, Kelsey and the teen had a dispute after Kelsey allegedly returned home intoxicated.

The teen, who is believed to be of unsound mind, reportedly complained about the loud voice in which Kelsey was speaking.

When the noise continued the teenager reportedly used a machete to chop Kelsey several times.

Kelsey was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigations continue.
