Twenty-three-year-old St Catherine man charged for murder
A 23-year-old man who was involved in a domestic dispute which left one dead and two others seriously wounded last week, has been slapped with three charges including murder.
He is Vernon White of Christian Pen, Gregory Park St Catherine.
The St Catherine South Police say white has also been charged with felonious wounding and unlawful wounding.
White's 15-year-old stepbrother Norval Plummer was chopped to death.
Reports are that about 6:00 a.m., last Wednesday, Plummer was at home with his mother and stepfather when his stepbrother reportedly attacked them with a machete.
Both sustained chop wounds. Plummer’s stepfather, who reportedly tried to intervene, also sustained injuries.
All three were taken to hospital, where Plummer later died.
White who was charged by the police on Wednesday, is to appear in court on July 10.
