BOUNTY KILLA GETS OCTOBER TRIAL DATE
A trial date for Bounty Killer’s charges of assault, unlawful wounding and illegal possession of a firearm has been set.
The dancehall deejay who appeared before the Gun Court this morning is to return on October 20, 2010 where the case will again be mentioned.
All this is stemming from an altercation with an off-duty policeman in New Kingston in September 2007.
It is alleged that on the day in question, a motor vehicle was blocking the road, when the policeman asked Bounty Killa and his followers to clear the road. It is being alleged that the policeman was assaulted and Killa allegedly threatened him with a gun.
Bounty Killa was charged with assault, unlawful wounding and illegal possession of a firearm.
