HERO GETS # 1 ON BILLBOARD

Hero is thankful after his newly released album Revelation sits atop the Billboard Top Reggae Albums Chart.

The God Alone singer tells Music News that he’s excited for such an accomplishment.

The 15 track album features singles such as God Alone, No More War, We Need Love and Prayer Time.

Hero is also gearing up for a string of upcoming tours to further promote the album.

To take the number one position on the Billboard top Reggae albums Chart, Hero’s Revelation is ahead of UB40, Beres Hammond, Steven Marley, Kymani Marley, Sizzla and Shaggy.

The station officially went on air on August 1, 1990. Reggae in the morning, Reggae in the evening, Reggae in the night was the cry. Critics said it was impossible to sustain a 24-hour Reggae music station. In fact, so strong was the impact, it proved that this format was something the Jamaican public yearned for. The 'little station that could' got all media houses in Jamaica to stand up and take note.
