International Night two belonged to Damian Junior Gong Marley.

Gong commanded patrons’ attention as he delivered a solid performance. His entertaining backup singers danced and sang adding life to his already excellent set. Junior Gong also paid tribute to his father Bob Marley and that too was well received.

Christopher Martin was entertaining. The former Digicel rising star showed he has grown delivering a great performance.

Protoje and AJ Brown were also good.

Controversial entertainer R Kelly had patrons waiting for over an hour. Though he didn’t apologize for being late he asked for forgiveness for being tipsy. But it didn’t take R Kelly long before he won over patrons with songs such as Hotel, Snake, I believe I Can Fly, When A Woman's Fed Up, Happy People, Slow Wine and Your Body Is Calling. Nonetheless, R Kelly left us high and dry as his set came to an abrupt. The singer exited the stage in his socks as his shoes were previously removed by fans during his performance.

Reggae Sumfest 2012 ended with the only living Wailer, Bunny Wailer on Sunday morning.

About IRIE FM

The station officially went on air on August 1, 1990. Reggae in the morning, Reggae in the evening, Reggae in the night was the cry. Critics said it was impossible to sustain a 24-hour Reggae music station. In fact, so strong was the impact, it proved that this format was something the Jamaican public yearned for. The 'little station that could' got all media houses in Jamaica to stand up and take note.
