Big Ship recording artiste Laden has gotten into hot water with the law.

The time to shine hit maker was yesterday evening (May 27, 2009) arrested by the Junction Police in St. Elizabeth for disorderly conduct and using indecent language.

According to reports, one of Laden's friends was caught talking to a female student when a police officer intervened and told her to go home, as she should not be roaming the streets in her school uniform.

It is alleged that Laden then challenged the cop by telling the student not to leave. By then Laden and the police officer were already engaged in an intense argument that resulted into laden using expletives.

Laden is scheduled to make an appearance in the Santa Cruz Resident Magistrates Court today (May 28, 2009).
