MAVADO GETS MARCH COURT DATE

Mavado is to return the Montego Bay R-M court on March 7 where he will answer to charges of malicious destruction of property and assault.  

Music News understands that the singjay’s attorney asked for the case to be delayed so they can further assess documents submitted by the prosecution.  

Vado was slapped with the charge July of last year.

 

All this stems from an incident near Anchovy, St James. Reports are that at about 7:00 p.m; Mavado assaulted a man and damaged his Toyota Camry motor vehicle along the Belmont main road in St. James.

The complainant allegedly stopped along the main road to allow a line of traffic to pass when he and his son were reportedly attacked by Vado and members of his entourage.

A promoter who allegedly tried to pay off the man and his son was charged with perverting the course of justice and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
