Vybz Kartel Freed Of Ganja Charges

Vybz Kartel has been freed of ganja charges this morning in the Corporate Area R-M Court.
Following the verdict, Magistrate Maxine Ellis asked the prosecution “how many people can own a little spliff.”
Vybz Kartel and two others were arrested and charged for ganja possession last year after police raided a hotel in New Kingston. Last October, a woman was fined $500 or 30 days for the ganja. She paid the fine and was released.
Kartel is also facing two separate charges of murder in the Home Circuit Court.
