However, LIME is not addressing that issue. In fact in a statement release this afternoon, LIME says it is monitoring the situation and if necessary, it will issue a further statement.

Vybz Kartel was arrested on Friday and remains in police custody. The controversial entertainer was nabbed during a major operation by the Flying Squad.

The self-proclaimed “World Boss” who was arrested at a small hotel in Kingston was charged with illegal possession of marijuana. The police say Vybz Kartel is also being questioned in connection with other crimes. A number of premises belonging to the entertainer were searched by police on Friday.

Vybz Kartel is currently being questioned by police. Keep it locked to IRIE FM as this saga unfolds.

In relating news, last Friday, Vybz Kartel’s second episode of Teacha’s Pet was postponed from television. CVM TV’s Programming Director Ranford Ricketts says the postponement came following technical difficulties by the producers of Teacha’s Pet.
