Controversial DJ Vybez Kartel has broken his silence about his “cakesoap” skin lightening. The DJ spoke to Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg on New York’s Hot 97 radio this week to answer questions of his recent skin tone. He explains his reverse tan is simply to gain shock value.
Though Kartel has always accredited his skin lightening to “cake soap”, he remained tightlipped about how he achieved his new skin tone; however he refutes the idea that he is promoting self hate
