Vybz Kartel was denied bail!

The controversial dancehall deejay appeared in the Corporate Area R-M this morning for charges of ganja possession.

One of Kartel’s lawyers, Christian Tavares-Finson tells Music News that the deejay was denied bail after the court indicated that he has more crucial matters pending.

As it relates to the other charges of murder, conspiracy to murder and possession of firearm, Vybz Kartel will face the court tomorrow according to his lawyer. Christian Tavares-Finson is confident the deejay’s case will be mentioned allowing Kartel’s legal team to make an application for bail.

Vybz kartel is to reappear in court on November 10 where the charge for possession of ganja is set for mention.

The self-proclaimed “World Boss” has been in police custody since September 30. Since his arrest, the Vybz Kartel led Portmore Empire seems to be spiraling downhill.

Gaza member Shawn Storm is also in police custody. The singjay turned himself in on Monday after being named a person of interest by the lawmen.

Meanwhile PopCaan has joined forces with Shocking Vibes. Shocking Vibes CEO Patrick Roberts tells Music News last week that the company is now doing bookings exclusively for the entertainer. He also hinted that talks regarding management are in the pipeline.
