Vybz Kartel’s Teacha’s Pet has gotten the boot.

LIME has taken the decision to discontinue its broadcast of the dancehall deejay’s reality series “Teacha’s Pet” on Mobile TV with immediate effect.

In a statement LIME says its decision came due to the serious nature of the charges brought against Vybz Kartel.

Meanwhile a representative of CVM TV confirms to Music News that the station has taken the decision to cease with immediate effect airing episodes of Kartel’s reality series “Teacha’s Pet”.

The decisions for the premature end of Teacha’s Pet comes following Vybz Kartel’s current charges with murder, conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of firearm.

Teacha’s Pet is a 12-episode series which will feature 19 girls engaging in activities and challenges in order to be the ultimate 'Teacha's Pet'.

About IRIE FM

The station officially went on air on August 1, 1990. Reggae in the morning, Reggae in the evening, Reggae in the night was the cry. Critics said it was impossible to sustain a 24-hour Reggae music station. In fact, so strong was the impact, it proved that this format was something the Jamaican public yearned for. The 'little station that could' got all media houses in Jamaica to stand up and take note.
