No Apology For Khago Says Scatta

Entertainer Khago is demanding an apology from producer Cordell “Scatta” Burrell following his actions on national television recently.

Khago is apparently wounded after Scatta broke his CD on the Magnum Kings and Queens competition where he serves as a judge. According to Khago, Scatta was out of line and should apologize to the people.

However, Scatta has refused to apologize to Khago insinuating that the deejay has mental issues.

Buju Banton Gets A Glimpse Of Hope

Will Buju Banton get an opportunity to undergo a third trial to prove his innocence?

Well, according to new information this is highly probable. It was revealed yesterday, that juror Teri Wright had submitted the wrong computer hard drive for examination by a computer forensic expert hired by Buju to examine if she had done research during his trial.

Terri Wright indicated to the court, during an earlier sitting, that she had used a laptop computer, but the expert had found that she submitted the hard drive for an old desktop computer.

Nesbeth got married on March 24 at the Struan Castle Gardens in St. Andrew. The entertainer tells Music News that he’s happy. The singer also used the opportunity to urge members of the entertainment industry specifically entertainers and musicians to follow a similar path.

Konshens Goes Hush On Raine Seville But Talks Canadian Tour

A clothing line, new singles, videos and tours are all on the agenda for Konshens.

Dancehall entertainer is currently in Canada for a string of events. After the dates in Canada, Konshens is expected to return to the island just in time for a free concert he’s hosting for fans. The Gal A Bubble deejay gives Music News the 411.

Thousands Join IRIE FM In Silent Protest

In commemoration of the Coral Gardens massacre which occurred 50 years ago and other atrocities committed by the state; IRIE FM has organized a silent protest drawing thousands to the capital city in its call for equal rights and justice for the Jamaican people.

Buju's Lawyers Remain Optimistic

Despite reports that Buju Banton's ongoing fight for freedom hit another snag, the deejay’s lawyer Chokwe Lumumba says the judge is yet to make a ruling.

Earlier this month Buju Banton’s lawyers, headed by Chokwe Lumumba, hired a computer expert to comb through a juror’s hard drive for any evidence of misconduct.

Busy Signal Preps For Europe Without Shane Brown

Busy Signal is expected to leave the island tomorrow for an extended comeback tour across Europe, parts of Africa and the Middle East.

Busy Signal’s tour was delayed due to passport related charges which stemmed from his United States extradition last year, but luckily for Busy he’s gotten the green light after paying a fine for passport fraud.

Busy’s tour is schedule to end in November, with a few breaks in between.

Tami Chynn Shows Off Baby Bump

Tami Chin is glowing and so too is her husband Wayne Marshall.

The singer, who is pregnant with her first child and second for Wayne Marshall, posted a picture on photo sharing website Instagram which shows Tami showing off her baby bump while she braces on her smiling hubby.

The pic is captioned @waynemarsheezy so happy you’re home!!!! Instahusband, love him!!! Reunited!!!

The likeable lovebirds who have been married since September 2009, is expecting a baby boy in coming months.

Downsound Records Drops Khago?

Did Khago’s inability to work with a team force him to leave Downsound Records? Or did Downsounds’ newest addition pushed him over the edge?

According to the company’s CEO, Joseph Bogdanovich Khago’s sense of security is so unstable that progress is difficult to achieve.  Joe gives Music News the full hundred.

Meanwhile, Khago has denied that he was ever managed by Downsound Records insisting the company did only bookings for him.
