by May 8th, 2019

About 11 children and the driver of a taxi were injured after the car they were travelling in, reportedly ran off the Rock River Bridge in Grantham, Clarendon, and plunged into the water, earlier today (May 8).

Its reported that 2 of the children sustained serious injuries and have been transferred to the Kingston Public Hospital.

Residents of the community have lamented that the accident was due to the lack of guard rails on the old bridge.

They are calling on member of Parliament for North West Clarendon, Richard Azan to have the bridge fixed.
