The Health Ministry is reporting 3 additional Covid-19 related deaths in comparison to one recorded the day before.
These push the country’s death toll to 2,410.
The deaths occurred between December 1 and 3.
The deceased are an 89-year-old female from Kingston and St Andrew, a 54-year-old male from st. Mary and a 75-year-old female from St. Catherine.
One of the deaths was previously under investigation.
Meantime, 48 new Covid-19 cases were recorded compared to 52 recorded the day before.
The overall case count is now 91,469.
Of the new cases, 27 are females and 21 are males.
They range in age from 3 months to 95 years
All parishes except Portland and Trelawny recorded new cases.
St Catherine recorded the highest number of cases with 15 followed by Kingston and St Andrew with 8.
The positivity rate is 6.3 percent in comparison to 5.2 percent the previous day.
118 more persons have recovered, pushing that tally to 62, 942.
136 persons are in hospital, 10 more than the previous number among them, 17 are severely ill, 10 critically ill and 20 moderately ill.
