33 athletes will represent Jamaica in six sporting disciplines at the Inaugural Caribbean Games set to be held in Guadeloupe from June 29 to July 3.
Members of the team were unveiled at yesterday’s launch of Jamaica’s participation at the games, which has attracted some 200 athletes from 29 Caribbean countries.
Jamaica will compete in Netball, 3 on 3 Basketball, Judo, Swimming, Cycling and Track and Field.
The event organized by the association of Caribbean Olympic Committees (CANOC), will be staged every four years for under 23 athletes and will not replace any of the existing games in the region.
