The five-year-old St. Ann boy who was mauled by dogs in the St. Dacre community on Sunday (15), has travelled overseas to undergo further treatment.
A family member told Irie Fm News that the boy and his mother left the island today (November 20).
She says he is to undergo cosmetic surgery.
The child was reportedly attacked by the dogs sometime after 10 am on Sunday when he was sent to a nearby shop.
He was bitten in the head, on the legs, arms and back.
He was rushed to surgery at the St. Ann’s Bay Hospital.
