The Health Ministry is reporting 6 additional Covid-19 related deaths.
The deaths occurred between August 24 and September 20.
The deceased are 5 females and 1 male.
They range in age from 27 to 76 years.
Manchester and St. Elizabeth recorded 2 deaths each, while St. Catherine and Kingston and St. Andrew recorded 1 death each.
The country’s Covid death toll is now 1,809.
The Health Ministry says there was one coincidental death, while 10 additional deaths are under investigation.
Meantime, there were 435 new Covid-19 cases, pushing the tally to 81,394.
Of the new cases, 227 are females, 182 are males and 26 are under investigation.
They range in age from 2 days to 95 years.
The positivity rate is 31.2%.
Kingston and St. Andrew recorded the highest number of cases with 120 followed by St. Catherine with 95.
670 persons are in hospital, among them 97 are severely ill, 50 critically ill and 137 moderately ill.
Meantime, 187 more persons have recovered, pushing that tally to 51,544.
27,480 cases are active.
