by July 6th, 2021

A parliamentary committee has recommended a six (6) year time limit for reporting sexual harassment cases.

Minister of Gender Affairs Olivia Grange opened the debate on the Sexual Harassment Bill on Tuesday afternoon.

The legislation has gone through extensive review by the parliamentary committee, which considered the suggestions of several civic and other interest groups.

The initial time limit of 12 months was rejected.

The committee also recommended widening the applicable categories.
