As cruise ships return to Ocho Rios, the Tourism Ministry is seeking to assure cruise stakeholders in Falmouth and Montego Bay that they have not been left out.
Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett says with the resumption of cruise ship calls at the Ocho Rios pier today, plans are already in place for more ships to call at the other ports in Falmouth and Montego Bay, in the next 3 months.
The Carnival Sunrise Cruise Line is expected to make about 15 calls at the Ocho Rios pier, over the next few weeks.
Mr Bartlett said the 3 major ports in Jamaica have suffered due to the shutdown last year.
