DPP responds to extradition request from INDECOM

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has responded to a request from the Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM for the extradition of a former Jamaican cop who is in the custody of the Canadian police.The former cop, 28-year-old, Whitney Hutchinson, has been implicated in an alleged ‘death squad' probe which investigators alleged operated in Jamaica.Speaking with IRIE FM news yesterday, DPP Paula Llewellyn confirmed that she had received Hutchinson' extradition request from INDECOM.
