Members of the entertainment industry are reacting following the death of former Jamaican national striker Luton Shelton.
35-year-old Shelton was found unresponsive at home on Friday.
Cham, Anthony B, Producer Skatta Burrell, Nesbeth, and Dancehall deejay Serani are among social media users sending messages of R.I.P and condolence.
On Instagram, Scatta Burrell wrote, “35-years young gone forever too soon, rest well bro.” While Serani wrote, “R.I.P Luton, Jah know.” Cham posted S.I.P King, Nesbeth used the praying hands emoji, and Anthony B wrote, “So Sad.”
In 2018, Luton Shelton found out he had ALS, which reduces functionality in the muscles they supply.
Shelton made his international debut for Jamaica in 2004, and earned 75 caps, scoring a record 35 goals and playing at three CONCACAF Gold Cups.
