Former Prime Minister Bruce Golding says he has advised Prime Minister Andrew Holness to use his political capital, or face losing it.
The advice from Mr. Golding came against the background of several scandals that have faced the Government in recent times.
He underscored the importance of integrity.
Speaking at the Jamaica Labour Party’s anniversary conference yesterday (November 28), Mr. Golding said the Prime Minister should not be afraid to use the immense political capital he has accumulated.
He said, running the Government is not something that can be done by Mr. Holness alone, noting that it calls for dedicated ministers, diligent MPs and councillors.
He urged those holding positions not to let down the Prime Minister.
