Former Policeman Charged For The Murder of ‘Insta Boss’, Denied Bail

by September 7th, 2018

A former policeman facing a murder charge was remanded until next Thursday when his case goes back to court.

Oshane Thompson faced the St. Mary parish court today (September 6).

A decision on bail was reserved after submissions were heard.

The independent commission of investigations which investigated the case says prosecutors in presenting their arguments opposed the bail application on the grounds that the accused failed to return to Jamaica at the scheduled time and that contact was made with one of the witnesses in the case.

Thompson has been remanded until next week Thursday, September 13.

He was arrested last Thursday august 30 upon his return to Jamaica and was charged for the murder of Kriston Pearson, otherwise called ‘Insta Boss’, which occurred on May 7, last year.
