Government discontinues ‘no-movement’ day for Sundays

by October 27th, 2021

The Government has discontinued the ‘no-movement’ day restriction for Sundays.

The curfew start time for Saturdays has also been adjusted.

Speaking in Parliament yesterday (October 26), Prime Minister Andrew Holness said effective Friday, October 29, the nightly curfew will begin at 8 pm and be lifted at 5 am the following day each week.

The new curfew measure will remain in effect until December 10.

Mr Holness hinted at the possibility of relaxed measures for the Christmas holidays if more people are vaccinated in November.
