Government is fast tracking the delivery of titles to people who have been resettled due to bauxite mining.
That’s according to Mining Minister Audley Shaw.
He was speaking at the Manchester Bauxite and Alumina Industry Conference at the Northern Caribbean University, in Manchester yesterday (May 19).
The minister said the government is aiming at distributing some 300 titles, this year.
He added that a community relations plan inclusive of a grievance mechanism for the extracting sector has been established.
