Integrity Commission says no bad blood between it and Dirk Harrison

The Chairman of the Integrity Commission has dismissed claims of a rift between the commission and former Contractor General Dirk Harrison, who was acting as head of the commission’s Corruption Prosecution Division.

Speaking at a media briefing this morning (May 13), Chairman of the Commission, retired Justice Karl Harrison said while there were differences of opinion between Harrison and the commission, there was no bad blood between the two.

Justice Harrison said there was no intention to discredit Harrison’s report on the sale of the Rooms On the Beach property, in Ocho Rios, St. Ann.

He added that the commission was not in any way trying to snub the parliament as was suggested in other media.
