Interviews for new CPFSA head begin

Interviews have begun to find a permanent Chief Executive Officer for the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA).

Michelle McIntosh Harvey, who was the CPFSA’s Director of Finance, has been serving as the agency’s interim CEO since April.

McIntosh Harvey assumption of the post followed the termination of the services of Rosalee Gage Grey.

Gage Grey left the post after a report from the Office of the Children’s Advocate on the handling of the CPFSA’s engagement with Carl Robanske, founder of the charity Embracing Orphans.

Speaking at a post cabinet press briefing this morning, Youth Minister Fayval Williams, said interviews for a permanent CEO are being conducted by the Office of the Services Commissions.
