A 31-year-old woman from Kingston and St. Andrew was among three persons who died from the Coronavirus, yesterday (February 17).
The other two are a 71-year-old female from Manchester and a 58-year-old male from St. Elizabeth.
Their deaths push the country’s death toll to 384.
There was one coincidental death and one death is under investigation.
Meantime, 294 new cases were recorded yesterday, pushing that tally to 20,310.
Of the new cases, 141 are males and 153 are females with ages ranging from 63 days to 90 years.
Kingston and St. Andrew recorded the highest number of cases with 117 followed by St. Catherine with 92.
St. James had 34, Clarendon and St. Ann had 13 each, Westmoreland 8, Manchester 7, Hanover 6, St. Mary 2 and Portland and St. Thomas 1 each.
There were 46 recoveries pushing that tally to 12,781.
6,939 cases are active.
253 persons are hospitalised, among them are 21 who are critically ill and 22 who are moderately ill.
