Jamaica Scorpions have drafted pacers as the two new-comers in their 15 member squad

Jamaica Scorpions have drafted right-arm pacer Gordon Bryan and left-arm medium pacer Khari Campbell, as the two new-comers to their 15 member squad.

This is for the next 2022-2023 season of the CG United 50 cricket cup and the regional four day championship.

The draft conducted by Cricket West Indies, which took place over two rounds via video call with representatives from all six territorial board franchises, saw each regional team retaining 13 players, and then drafted two players to complete their 15-member squads for the forthcoming season.

The rest of the Jamaica Scorpions squad for next season reads,  Brad Barnes, Carlos Brown, John Campbell, Akim Fraser, Nicholson Gordon, Leroy Lugg, Kirk Mckenzie, Jamie Merchant, Marquino Mindley, Paul Palmer Jr, Javor Royal, Aldaine Thomas, and Alwyn Williams.

The CG United Super50 cup is expected to return in November where defending champions Trinidad & Tobago red force will attempt to retain their title.

The Barbados pride were crowned champions of the 2021-22 West Indies four day championship, when they won in Trinidad earlier this month, to retain the Headley/Week’s Trophy .
