Jamaica’s Reggae boyz slipped two places to 64 on the FIFA Coca Cola World Cup rankings

Jamaica’s Reggae boyz have slipped two places to 64 on the latest release of the fifa Coca Cola World Cup rankings.

However the Reggae boyz remain as the number one ranked team in the Caribbean and number 5 overall in Concacaf behind Mexico 13, United States 16, Costa Rica 31 and Panama 60.

El Salvador 74, Honduras 80 and Curacao 86 are the other Concacaf teams inside the top 100.

In the meantime, South American Giants Brazil will head into the world cup as the top-ranked team after extending their lead over second-place Belgium.

Following their 3 nil win over the reggae boyz last week in new jersey Copa America champions Argentina, remains at number 3 with reigning world champions France and beaten euro 2020 finalist England rounding out the top 5 places.

The rest of the top 10 is completed by Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal and Denmark.

Africa Cup of nations winners Senegal are the highest ranked African team at 18, while World Cup host Qatar occupy the number 50 spot

The next edition of the Fifa/Coca-Cola World ranking will be published on December 22 – two days after the world cup final.

The World Cup gets underway on November 20.
