Former Jamaica College captain Junior Flemmings has earned a call up to the senior Reggae Boyz team for the first time.
The former national under 17 midfielder has been named in the final 23 man squad for Friday’s opening CONCACAF World Cup semifinal round qualifier against Panama at the National Stadium along with Kevaughn Frater of Harbour View and Allan Ottey of Montego Bay United as the local based players in the squad.
Andre Clennon of Finnish Premier Division club Vaasan VPS is also in the 23 man squad while Shaun Cummings and Deshorn Brown are no longer included.
New Reggae Boy Clayton Donaldson of English Championship club Birmingham City along with captain Rodolph Austin, Michael Hector, Garath McCleary, Wes Morgan, Adrian Mariappa, Simon Dawkins and Lee Williamson arrived from the United Kingdom on Monday.
Alvas Powell, Jevaughn Watson and Kemar Lawrence also arrived joining Demar Phillips, Ryan Thompson and Andre Blake.
The players expected to arrive on Tuesday include Darren Mattocks, Devor Orgill, Giles Barnes and DuWayne Kerr.
Jamaica will contest Group B of the CONCACAF semi-final round against Panama, Haiti and Costa Rica.
