Tragedy struck this morning, when a Jamaica Urban Transit Company bus mowed down several people, killing a fruit vendor in West Parade, Downtown Kingston.
The bus which reportedly slammed into the back of a car pushed the vehicle onto the side-walk where the fruit vendors were selling.
One male fruit vendor was killed and about five other persons including both drivers were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police have not yet released the name of the vendor who was killed.
None of the passengers on the bus was injured.
