by January 21st, 2019

The National Solid Waste Management Authority, NSWMA, will be continuing its drive today (January 21), to remove bulky waste, from across St. Ann .

The initiative is a continuation of the agency’s allisland clean up drive, that has been rampedup in an effort to remove possible mosquito breeding sites, as the country tackles an outbreak of dengue fever.

Regional Operations Manager at NEPM Waste Management Ltd, Tracy Fakourie, says today’s activities will focus on the resort town of Ocho Rios.

Mrs. Fakourie notes, that several truckloads of the bulky waste have been removed from communities in st. Ann, since November, last year.
