NWA urges motorists in Portland and St. Mary to exercise caution, after heavy weekend rains affect some roads

The National Works Agency, NWA says the Junction Road in St. Mary, which was reduced to single lane overnight, due to landslides and fallen trees has been fully reopened.

The roadway was affected by heavy rains over the last 48 hours.

Communication and Customer Services Manager at the NWA, Stephen Shaw told Irie Fm News that several roads in Portland have also been impacted, reducing them to single lane access.

He is urging motorists in Portland and St. Mary to exercise caution as they utilise the roads.
