Plans are afoot to boost water supply to the resort town of Negril in Westmoreland.

Over the next three years, seventy million US dollars will be spent by the National Water Commission, to implement infrastructure to provide adequate supply in times of drought, break-downs at facilities, and in anticipation of other developments.

Senior Customer Service Manager at the NWC, Richard Williams, made the disclosure at a town hall meeting in the area, recently.

He added, that the sewer systems for the town, will also be expanded, under the project.
