Opposition leader Mark Golding is calling on the Ministry of National Security to devise a plan to tackle crime.
He was reacting to the quadruple murder in Havannah Heights Clarendon yesterday morning.
According to Mr Golding, a strong police presence is needed in the area to provide peace for the residents.
He says the government must forward fresh ideas to tackle the issues facing the community.
Yesterday’s incident in the community saw the killing of two women and two men.
Police report that the killing could be linked to a murder in the area some time ago.
