With the continued slide in the value of the Jamaican dollar the Opposition has poured scorn on government’s handling of the economy.

President of the People’s National Party and Opposition Leader, Dr. Peter Phillips speaking to party supporters in Clarendon on the weekend, stated that the country is yet to benefit from the promised economic boom.

He stated that the projection of economic growth has turned into economic decline.

He stated that there was no plan by the Holness administration for the management of the Jamaican dollar which has resulted in more hardship.
