Otis Gibson could be sacked as West Indies Coach

The status of Otis Gibson as coach of the West Indies team is shrouded in uncertainty on the eve of the one-day series against Bangladesh, with reports this morning suggesting that he has been, or is to be, sacked.He was apparently not present at the team’s training session in St George’s, Grenada, yesterday ahead of the first one day international against the touring Bangladesh team tomorrow (August 20).The Trinidad Express newspaper has reported that WICB president Dave Cameron confirmed Gibson’s absence from training and said the board was in “discussions” with him.
