Minister with responsibility for Education Karl Samuda has indicated that the individual grades for students who recently sat the Primary Exit Profile (PEP) exam will be published by next week.
The publication of the individual grades is in response to queries and complains from stakeholders including the Opposition.
Concern had been raised about the PEP results and the method used by the Education Ministry to assess the students, then rank their results based on scales instead of percentages, and to place students in categories labelled beginning, development, proficient and highly proficient.
Speaking in parliament today Samuda said the individualised report will help clear up all doubts about the PEP exam.
Samuda added that high schools will have access to results by July 5.
