by March 18th, 2019

The opposition People’s National Party, PNP has drawn attention to what it describes as reports of questionable transactions by some institutions connected to the Education Ministry.

Among the issues cited by the party is how funds from the Heart Trust for the Career Advancement Programme are being used.

Opposition Leader Dr. Peter Phillips in bringing the matter to the spotlight is calling for a probe to determine how tax payers monies are being used.

Speaking at a press conference at PNP Headquarters today (March 18) Dr. Phillips says politically connected persons have been employed as advisers, but he says the reports are that these individuals are not doing any work.

He wants the Auditor General’s office to investigate the reports.
