Police following strong leads into seizure of several high powered guns at St. James wharf

The police say they are following strong leads into the seizure of several high powered guns at the wharf in St. James, yesterday (January 11).

Nineteen firearms, including six high powered rifles and just over 4 hundred and 70 assorted rounds of ammunition were found in a barrel at the wharf.

Senior Communications Strategist at the Jamaica Constabulary Force, Dennis Brooks says a major multi-agency investigation is underway, to identify the persons responsible.
